We take our corporate responsibilities (“CSR”) seriously and are committed to advancing our policies and systems across the Company with continual improvement. We endevour to follow good ethical behavior, concern for employee health and safety, care for the environment and community involvement. 

We are committed to taking positive steps towards CSR through:

The Directors of the company take ultimate responsibility for CSR and are committed to developing and implementing appropriate policies that adhere to our company vision.

We aim to achieve this by:

  • Minimising environmental impacts through implementation of best practice

ETHICS
GTAccess expects that all of its business is conducted in compliance with the highest ethical standards of business practice.  We apply these standards to all dealings with authorities, employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders.  Our Ethics Policy has been developed to ensure that the Company’s business is conducted in adherence with high ethical and legal principles.

The following is a summary of our Ethics Policy:
  • All directors and employees have the right and responsibility to ensure that the Company’s business is conducted with high ethical and legal principles;
  • Our policy is to operate within applicable laws;
  • Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated;
  • No bribes or facilitation payments of any kind shall be given or received;
  • Compliance to the strict rules on data protection and confidentiality
  • Conflicts of interest must be avoided;
  • We aim to be a responsible partner within our local communities; and
  • Employees are encouraged and supported to report, in confidence, any suspected wrongdoings.
Appropriate ethical behavior is reviewed as part of the Company’s internal control process.

GTAccess believes in taking steps to protect the privacy of its employees. The Company will not interfere in the personal lives of employees unless their conduct impairs their work performance or adversely affects the work environment or reputation of GTAccess.  The Company limits the collection of personal information to that which is necessary and collection of personal information is to be conducted by fair and lawful means with the knowledge and consent of the individual from whom the information is being collected. GTAccess and all employees shall also comply with all applicable laws regulating the disclosure of personal information, including the Data Protection Act 2018.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Safety is a high priority for GTAccess across all our sites. All employees are expected to be engaged in maintaining safe working practices and are given safety training at the commencement of their employment and regularly thereafter.

Regular audits are conducted at all sites covering operations and assessment of the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System and the procedures that the sites have in place to ensure the requirements of the system are met.  Accidents are investigated and safety performance is tracked by the Company.  Safety performance is reported through the line management with any significant incident brought to the attention of the Managing Director immediately.
 
ENVIRONMENT
Good environmental practice and the impact that our operations have on the environment are of great importance to GTAccess.  The Company is committed to sound environmental management.  The main aim of the Company’s environmental policy is to comply with all applicable environmental legislation and to adopt responsible environmental practices.

GTAccess endeavours to reduce the impact the Company has on the environment by implementing where possible sustainable and renewable energy solutions designed to reduce our carbon footprint.  The Company and its employees shall conserve energy resources to the fullest extent possible with sound business operations.
 
We  take our responsibility for sustainability and energy efficiency seriously and believe the approach we are taking will ensure that the hire of a powered access machine from us will not only be easy and cost effective, but also safer, more efficient and will come at less of a cost to the environment.  We are using technology to reduce our  waste, improve the working environment for our employees, increase efficiency when dealing with customers and manage our operations.
 
COMMUNITY
GTAccess are committed to having a positive impact on the local communities from which we derive our business. We aim to build stronger and healthier local communities through supporting local educational instituitions, community groups, charities and non-profit agencies and take an active role in supporting the wider community when possible.
