Looking for IPAF operator training in Bristol? With over 40 years in the industry, GTAccess can offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise in training people to use powered access equipment correctly and safely. The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the effective and safe use of cherry pickers, scissor lifts and other mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). To help reduce the risk of accident and injury, everyone operating a MEWP must complete an IPAF training course and receive certification.

The IPAF 3a and 3b courses are specialist training courses designed to educate operators on how to safely and effectively use various types of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). All operators of MEWPs are required by law to undertake these courses and be certified before using any equipment.

IPAF 3a

The 3a course is tailored around self-propelled mobile vertical platforms (able to drive lowered or elevated) such as scissor lifts.

IPAF 3b

The 3b course certifies operators in the safe usage of boom-type platforms like cherry pickers and articulated and trailer-mounted boom lifts.
