Got more questions about IPAF courses in Essex?

Your IPAF course in Essex will take a full day to complete. The practical side will take half a day and involves training and an assessment. You will also be taught about the structural parts and regulations of your access platform and take a theory test. Most courses start at 8:00 am and finish at 4:40 pm.

While it is not a legal requirement, Work at Height Regulations 2005 dictate that employers should ensure anyone using a cherry picker is competent to do so or is supervised by a competent person. A PAL (Powered Access Licence) card provides identification that users are trained and competent to use a cherry picker and other MEWPs.

Depending on the course, subjects covered will be things including, how to operate access platforms, the regulations, their structural parts, pre-use inspections, harness training and more.

If you intend to operate a MEWP that requires a harness, including 3a and push around verticals (PAV), you will need to complete harness training. GTAccess provides harness IPAF courses in Essex to get you the qualifications you need.
