The Power in Access
Covers what managers need to know about using MEWPs (mobile elevating work platforms) on site, from planning the job andcompleting a risk assessment, to selecting the right equipment. The course includes topics such as health and safety regulations, accident prevention and control, personal protection equipment, and pre-use checks and maintenance.
Under UK health and safety legislation employers must train all employees who plan, supervise and manage work at height and the use of equipment for such work.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?The course is targeted at project managers, foremen and supervisors. Anyone who is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of MEWPs on their job site.

†Maximum class size may be less at certain training centre locations.‡Delegates must arrive 15 minutes prior to course start time for registration.§Finish time is approximate and may be longer dependent on competency of delegates.
CITB GRANT FUNDINGThis course qualifies for Tier 2 CITB Grant funding of £70. GTAccess is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and as such our customers are able to claim grants when completing certain courses. The value of the grant is dependent on the duration and content of the course. CERTIFICATIONAll candidates who successfully complete the course will receivean IPAF certificate. The MEWPs for Managers (MM) category can also be added to a PAL Card for those that hold one.
REFRESHMENTSTea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres. Please note that lunch is not provided.
CANCELATION POLICYCourses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
