GTAccess connects construction companies with specialised IPAF training in Southampton either at our Hailsham depot or, in some instances, even at your site. The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) offers funding for employee training in these courses. Their mission is to help cover the costs of employee training to encourage better skills and raise all-round competency levels in the construction sector. The following IPAF training courses for Southampton are offered:
IPAF Demonstrator – This is a course that prepares a demonstrator to advise and train other access platform operators on their responsibilities and pre-use safety measures.
IPAF Instructor – A course to train an instructor and to evaluate whether they are competent and qualified to understand and deliver the IPAF training programmes to others.
IPAF Load/Unload – A course that ensures operators know how to securely and safely load and unload access platforms before and after vehicle transit.
