Our Head office at Bromsgrove recently played host to 40 students from South Bromsgrove school as part of their Enterprise Week.

During the two hour visit the students were given a presentation explaining what GTAccess does as a company before being taken on a tour of the offices and workshop areas. During the tour they were introduced to members of the GTAccess team who explained their job roles and responsibilities and answered questions from both the students and teachers. The teachers also had the opportunity to catch up with one of their previous students who had started an apprenticeship with GTAccess several years ago after leaving South Bromsgrove school and is now a valued member of our Accounts team.

Jo-Anne Till, Director at GTAccess said “Its been really fantastic to be able to offer them the opportunity to come in and learn a bit about what we do and what its like to work here.”

Before leaving the group were given the opportunity to take a ride high up in one of the GTAccess Skyjack SJ6826 scissor lifts. The scissor took them up 8 metres were the students were afforded clear views across the Bromsgrove skyline.

Helen Harrod, Careers Officer at South Bromsgrove High School commented "Thank you for hosting a visit this week and welcoming our staff and students into your workplace. Feedback from staff and students has been very positive and the students returned to school inspired by what they saw and heard. As a school we are keen to provide our students with insightful and engaging experiences which will help them in the future, and so rely on employers such as yourselves to provide these opportunities."
