Community 10 June 2017 Share Share Share Share The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber Business Awards is one of the highlights in the business events calendar and this year the glittering event took place on Thursday 15th June at the Worcester Arena. The event was attended by over 570 businesses from across the region. GTAccess attended the event and were crowned the winner of the Excellence in Innovation Award 2017. The award celebrates the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in innovation. So winning the Excellence in Innovation award for our GTA Secure™ system is something that I’m immensely proud of.” Using innovative technologies such as GTA Secure has enabled GTAccess to make operational efficiencies to their business. The GTA Secure system offers their powered access customers features such as tracking, geo-fencing and access control. The system stops the unauthorized use of powered access equipment when out on hire and is proving to be the perfect solution on sites when a number of contractors working in close proximity could give rise to instances of ‘nuisance borrowing’. It gives hirers complete control, providing real-time monitoring of machine location and status including start time, finish time, and usage. Safety is also improved by only allowing access to individuals that are fully trained and authorised to use the equipment with access securely controlled by either a unique pin code or GTA SmartID or IPAF card. But GTAccess are not resting on their win, they are already looking towards future innovations and have plans to further integrate and improve the GTA secure system to provide their customers with a better, safer and more controlled powered access hire service.
