The vicar of the parish church in Much Wenlock arranged for the Bishop to bless its newly repaired roof from the safety of a SD170 boom.

The roof of the Holy Trinity parish Church in Much Wenlock in Shropshire was in urgent need of repairs. Once completeed the vicar Mathew Stafford decided it would be a good idea to have the newly restored roof blessed by the Bishop of the diocese.

Mathew arranged for the Bishop to use a Niftylift SD170 from GTAccess to reach the newly repaired church roof to carry out the blessing. Unfortunately the Bishop is not keen on heights so was a little reticent at first to climb in to the powered access platform but quickly overcame his fears as he rose abopve the parapet and carried out the blessing in front of the local congregation.
